Howard Gerald Roth, 82, best friend and beloved husband of 59 years to his devoted wife Rosella. He was the “Superman” and father of Barry (fiance Heidi Rubin), Mimi (Brian) Borkan and Julie. Loving “Da” of Brett (Susy), Lindsay (Dan), Sami, Dalton and Tyler. Devoted and cherished son of the late Anne and Maury Roth. Brother of Herbert, Robert and the late Jackie Roth. Cherished brother in-law of many. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Veteran of the Korean War, co-owner of multiple grocery stores, dry cleaners and the former Chicago Grand Deli. In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of his love of children, donations can be made to Lurie Children’s Hospital 225 E.
